Pisang Peak climbing in Nepal(6,091 m) is leveled as the easy peak climbing trip in Nepal. Despite rating as easy climbing peak of Nepal, climbing Pisang Peak  is technical in nature. As Pisang Peak Climbing trail is located in Annapurna Region this amazing Himalayan adventure also offers to experience Annapurna trekking which includes famous high Himalayan pass – Thorang-La, Muktinath – a pilgrimage site held in great respect by both Hindus and Buddhists, exploration of amazingly wonderful Manang and Pokhara valley.

The best time for Pisang Peak Climbing are Autumn (October- November) and Spring (April- May).

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,335 m)

Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, a Zed Travels representative will be there for your warm welcome and will help you to transfer to the hotel. In free time take good rest and get refreshed from jetlag. In evening join a welcome dinner organized by Zed Travels Team. Overnight at hotel.


Kathmandu Sightseeing (1.335 m):

A half-day guided tour around Kathmandu city’s historical and cultural landmarks. Visit Bouddhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple, the most important sites of Buddhism and Hinduism in Nepal.Get lost in Kathmandu’s old city bazaars, public squares, and former royal palaces at Durbar Square. After sightseeing, check the gears and make sure you have got everything needed for the trip. If there is no sufficient gears then your guide will help you to buy or hire them in Thamel. Overnight at hotel


Kathmandu to Beshisahar (850m/8 hours)

After early breakfast, we will take our private vehicle and will drive to Besisahar. We will stay overnight in teahouse at Besisahar.


Besisahar to Bahundanda (1,310 m /5-6 hours trek)

From Besisahar, our trail first goes to Sera and then gradually goes to Bulbule. Further it goes to Bahundanda through Ngadi village for overnight. We stay overnight at Bahundanda in a teahouse.


Bahundanda to Chamje (1,410 m/7 hours trek)

We take steep up trail where we pass several small streams and come across some beautiful villages of Kanjgaon and Ghermu Phant and reach Jagat for lunch. After lunch one and half hour more trek take us to Chamje. We will stay overnight at Chamje.


Chamje to Dharapani (1,950 m/5-6 hours trek)

After breakfast, our trail first cross a suspension bridge of Marsyandi river then ascent up to Tal.  It then follows the rocky trail, crosses some teahouse and lead us to Dharapani for overnight.


Dharapani to Chame (2,630 m/5-6 hours trek)

We take early breakfast and start our trekking again. This day we first pass Bagarchap village, then we will trek to Danaque. From there we pass two beautiful Lamtamang and Koto villages to get to Chame. Chame offers the superb views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Overnight at Chame.


Chame to Upper Pisang (3,700 m/5-6 hours trek)

Take breakfast and get ready for trekking. Today we first pass Bhartang, village of apple garden then continue our walk to Dhukure Pokhari where we take our lunch.  Then we take descent trail and trek to Upper Pisang. Overnight at Upper Pisang.


Acclimatization Day:

This will be a rest day. As we will have a whole free day we will explore Upper Pisang and will enjoy the magnificent views of Annapurnas, Gangapurna and Tilicho. Overnight at Upper Pisang.


Upper Pisang to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4,380 m /3-4 hours trek):

The trail from Upper Pisang goes steep up and passes Kharka (4,380m.) before reaching Pisang Base Camp.  Upon we reach base camp we will set our tent for overnight. Overnight at base camp.


Pisang Peak Base Camp to High Camp (5,400 m/3-4 hours trek)

After breakfast, we start our trek and will follow the south west ridge of Pisang to hike up to High Camp. Upon we reach to High Camp we will set our camp there. Overnight at High Camp.


Summit Pisang Peak and trek back to Base Camp (6,091 m/7-9 hours trek):

The trail from High Camp to summit is quite steep and technical but our guide will help you to climb up comfortably. In summit we will spend some time to get the superb mountains views. After then we will descend down to Base Camp for overnight.


Base Camp to Manag Valley (3,450 m/5-6 hours trek):

We take early breakfast and start our trekking to Manang Valley. With five to six hours walk we reach Manang where we will stay overnight this day.


Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110 m/3-4 hours trek)

From Manag, we take one hour steep up trail to Tenki Manang where we get the wonderful views of mountains including Annapurna, Gangapurna and Tilicho peak. After then we trek to Yak Kharka. We will stay overnight at Yak Kharka.


Yak Kharka to Throng Pedi (4,400 m/3-4 hours trek)

After breakfast, today we trek to Thorong Phedi- small yet a wonderful settlement and also the gateway of famous Thorang La Pass.Overnight at Thorang La Phedi.


Phedi to the Thorung – La Pass and to Muktinath (up to 5,416 m/8,5 hours treking)

We will start our trekking earlier than previous days with aiming to cross the challenging Thorang La pass before mid-day. The pass is challenging one but it will rewards with superb mountains views.After experiencing high Himalayan pass we then descent down to Muktinath. Muktinath, a pilgrimage site held in great respect by both Hindus and Buddhists. We will stay overnight at Muktinath.


Muktinath to Kagbeni (3,550 m/3,5 hours treking)

From Muktinath our trail first descend down to Jharkot village. From there it again descend down and will slowly take us to Kagbeni for overnight.


Kagbeni to Jomsom (2,800 m/3-4 hours trek)

We will trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom, headquarter of Mustang which is inhabitant of Thakali people who have own culture, tradition and way of living. We will stay overnight at Jomsom.


Fly to Pokhara (820 m/25 minutes)

Early morning we will take spectacular flight to Pokhara. In Pokhara we will have plenty of time to explore the beautiful Pokhara city. Enjoy exploring. Overnight at Pokhara Hotel.


Drive (6 hours)/Fly (30minutes) back to Kathmandu (1,334 m)

You can either can travel back to Kathmandu by bus or can take thirty minutes spectacular flight back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu you can buy some gifts for friends and family back home. In evening join farewell dinner organized by Zed Travels Team for successful pisang peak climbing. Overnight at hotel.


Fly back home
