Arrive in Kathmandu (1,334 m):

Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, a Zed Travels representative will be there for your warm welcome and will help you to transfer to your hotel. In free time take good rest and get refreshed of jetlag. In evening join welcome dinner organize by Zed Travels Team. Overnight at Hotel.


Kathmandu Sightseeing (1,334 m):

ake your breakfast and get ready for a guided full day sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. The sightseeing program is focused to introduce some highlights of UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar square, Swoyambhunath ,also known as “Monkey Temple”, Pashupatinath –temple of Lord Shiva and Bouddhanath; a Buddhist place. After sightseeing evening will be for trek briefing and preparation of things per need.


Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150 m/45 minutes flight):

Early morning, we will flight from Tribhuvan International Airport and will fly to Nepalgunj. At Nepalgunj we can explore around in our free time. Overnight at Hotel.


Fly to Jhupal (2,475 m) from Nepalgunj (45 minutes) and trek to Dunai (2,140 m/2-3 hours trek):

We will first fly to Jhupal from Nepalgunj. From Jhupal we will trek Dunai for overnight.


Dunai to Tarakot (2,543 m/5-6 hours trek):

Today we will further trek to Tarakot. It takes five to six hours trek to reach Tarakot, which is a wonderful village. Overnight at Tarakot.


Tarakot to Laini (3,160 m/6-7 hours trek):

After early breakfat we will resume our trekking. This day we will walk through terraces and also pass some small rural villages to reach Laini. Overnight at Laini.


Laini to Nawarpani (3,545 m/5 hours trek):

An exciting day for trekking as our trails follows the Tarap River gorge, which gradually lead us to today’s destination Nawarpani. Overnight at Nawarpani.


Nawarpani to Do Tarap (4,090 m/7-8 hours trek):

Leave Nawarpani and trek to Do Tarap which is Tibetan and Magar village surrounded by irregular stones. Overnight at Do Tarap.


Acclimatize day in Tarap:

As we gain the altitude this is a rest day. Explore around Tarap, visit some monasteries and enjoy your rest day. Overnight at Tarap.


Tarap to Numa la Base Camp (4,440 m/6-7 hours trek):

From Tarap, today we will set off to Numa La Base Camp for overnight. Tokyu, a village with monastery belongs to Chiba Sect is the main highlight of today’s walk. Overnight at Numa La Base Camp.


Cross Numa La (5,190 m) and camp at Pelung Tang (4,465 m/6-7 hours trek):

We take steep up trail to Numa La Pass (5,190m.), one of the challenging high pass which will offers superb views of mountains including Dhaulagiri (8,167m). After the conquering the pass we will further trek down to Pelung for overnight.


Cross Baga La (5,070 m) and Camp at Dajok Tang (4,080 m/6 hours trek):

Day to cross another pass Baga La. From Pelung Tang we trek all the way up to Baga La pass; a view point for snowcapped Kanjirowa Himal range and surrounding landscapes. After crossing Baga La cross we will descend down to Dajok Tang. We stay overnight at Dajok Tang.


Dajok Tang to Ringmo (3,600 m/3-4 hours trek):

Comparatively, easy and short trekking day when we will trek through pine forest to get Ringmo where we will stay overnight.


Rest day at Ringmo to hike Phoksundo Lake and explore around:

Day to enjoy and relax by exploring around Ringmo and visiting Phoksundo Lake. Walk around Ringmo, visit some Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries and take a walk to deepest Lake of Nepal Phoksundo. Overnight.


Ringmo to Shyanta (2,520 m/5-6 hours trek):

After spending a wonderful day at Ringmo, this day we will trek to Shyanta passing several small yet, wonderful villages. Overnight at Shyanta.


Shyanta to Jhupal (2,475 m/5-6 hours trek):

This day we will trek back to Jhupal via Sulighat. In Jhupal we can explore around. Overnight at Jhupal.


Fly back Kathmandu via Nepalgunj:

From Jhupal we will first fly back to Nepalgunj. From Nepalgunj we further fly back to Kathmandu. In evening join farewell dinner organized by Zed Travels Team for successful Lower Dolpo Trekking. Overnight at hotel.


Departure Day:
