Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1,334 m)

Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, a Zed Travels representative will be there for your warm welcome and will help you to transfer to the hotel. In hotel take rest and get refreshed of jetlag. In evening join a welcome dinner organized by Zed Travels team. Overnight at hotel.


Kathmandu Valley sightseeing

A half-day guided tour around Kathmandu city’s historical and cultural landmarks. Visit Bouddhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple, the most important sites of Buddhism and Hinduism in Nepal. Catch the playful antics of the monkeys and beautiful city views at Swayambunath temple. Get lost in Kathmandu’s old city bazaars, public squares, and former royal palaces at Durbar Square. In evening we can prepare equipment required for the trekking.


Kathmandu-Lukla-Phakding (2,652 m/8,700 ft.):

A scenic 40 minutes flight from Kathmandu takes you to Lukla. In Lukla meet remaining crews then start trek to Phakding. It is 3 hours gentle walk through the banks of Dudh Koshi River to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.


Phakding-Namche Bazar (3,440 m/4-5 hours trek)

After breakfast, we follow Dudhkoshi river we then pass several suspension bridges. With 6.5 hours walking we reach Namche Bazar which is the trading center of Khumbu Region. Overnight.


Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar

A rest day in Namche Bazar. This day we visit Tourist Visit Center to collect the knowledge of Sherpa traditions, cultures and flora and faunas of Khumbu Region. We also can hike up to Thame. As Namche is the last place to check the gears we also have time to check our gears and if something missed then we can hire it there. Overnight.


Thame (3,800 m/4-5 hours trek)

From Namche, we left the classical Everest Base Camp Trekking route and turn left to trek Thame. Thame is one of the oldest Sherpa village in Everest trekking region and also have Thame Gompa. Enjoy exploring beautiful village. Overnight at Thame.


Marlung (4,137 m/5-6 hours trek)

The trail from Thame heads north towards Thame Teng. From there we will pass several small settlements and will reach Marlung where we will stay overnight.


Lungdeng (4,600 m/4-5 hours trek)

After breakfast, we take ascend up trail and walk through deserted hill side to reach Lungdeng. Lungdeng offers the amazing view of Ngazumpa glacier which is the biggest glacier in the world. Overnight at Lungdeng.


Renjo-La Pass (5,465 m) and trek to Gokyo Lake (4,800 m/6-7 hours trek)

when we will cross one of the high pass Renjo La pass.  From Lungdeng we take ascent trail and slowly heads towards the pass. Gradually and carefully we will cross the pass, and upon we reach the top of the Renjo La we can enjoy the outstanding views. From the top we will descend down to Gokyo valley via glaciers. Overnight at Gokyo.


Acclimatization at Gokyo

We will enjoy a rest day at Gokyo it will offer us the awe inspiring views of  Mt. Everest and Cho-Oyu and we can also see the Northern part of Cho-Oyu base camp and biggest glacier of the world Ngazumpa glacier. Enjoy exploring. Overnight.


Thangnak (4,700 m/5-6 hours trek)

Early we will hike up top of Gokyo Ri to enjoy the superb views of snowcapped mountains including Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Chagtse, Pumori, Thamserku, K 43, Kangtega, and Kusum Kanguru. After then we will trek back to Gokyo, will have breakfast and will trek Thangnak. Overnight at Thangnak.


Thangnak-Cho La pass and Dzongla (4,830 m/6-7 hours trek)

We start our trek early in the morning and start climb up from Thangnak to challenging Cho La pass. The route can be snow covered, particularly after November which offers some stunning views of Ama Dablam. From Pass we take descend trail to Dzongla for overnight.


Labuche (4,910 m)

From Dzongla, we descent down through easy trail and short ascent takes us to the foot of the Awi Peak which offers the stunning views of Chalotse and Twaoche across the valley. From there we descent towards the main trail which lead us to Labuche. Overnight at Dzongla.


Labuche-Gorak Shep (5,180 m) – Everest Base Camp – Gorakshep (8-9 hours trek)

From Labuche, we first get to Gorakshep (lunch-place), then hike up to Everest Base Camp where we spend some time. After then we will trek back to Gorakshep for overnight.


Lobuche-Kongma La (5,535 m) then to Dingboche (7 hours trek)

This day we will first trek to Kongma La Base Camp via Khumbu Glacier then ascend up to Kongma Pass which is one of the tough trekking part of the day. After successfully passing Kongma La we will then descend down to Dingboche via Imja and Chukung valley. Overnight at Dingboche.


Monju (2,780 m/5-6 hours trek)

From Tengboche the trail first descent down to Phungithanga. The stunning views of Mount Ama Dablamm and Khangeta mountains and Tengboche monastery also in our glimpse along the way. We cross Namche Bazar and take steep down trail to Monju for overnight.


Lukla (2,810 m/4-5 hours trek):

From Monju we will take descend down trail and will trek to Lukla. In evening we will join farewell dinner with our porters at Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.


Kathmandu (1,334 m):

We will early morning flight back to Kathmandu. After some rest we can do some shopping around Thamel. In evening join farewell dinner organized by Zed Travels team for successful Everest Three Pass Trekking. Overnight at hotel.
