Arrival at Kathmandu and Hotel reservation

A Zed Travel representative will welcome you and transfer you to hotel upon your arrival at the airport. You can relax over there for a while and join the welcome dinner organized by our team in the evening. You will stay overnight at the same hotel.

Kathmandu sightseeing

Zed Travels will focus mainly on UNESCO World Heritage Listed sites of the Kathmandu valley which includes Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and historic Kathmandu Durbar Square. Enjoy your exploring. You will stay overnight at the same hotel.

Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2,652 m/8,700 ft)

This day you will depart for Lukla in an aeroplane. The flight will take less than one hour and in Lukla you will meet your trekking crew members and start your trek to Phakding. You will trek for like 3 hours through the banks of Dudh Koshi River to Phakding where you will stay overnight.

Phakding – Namche Bazar (3,440m/11,280ft)

Early in the morning you will have your breakfast and continue your trek following the same Dudhkoshi river. You will pass several suspension bridges along the way. And after trekking for like 6.5 hours your team will reach Namche Bazar which is also known as the trading area of the Khumbu region. The same Namche Bazar will be your team’s overnight staying place.

Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar

This day you will take rest in Namche Bazar. Your team will be involved in visiting some of the popular areas of Namche and Khumbu region. As, this is the last area where we can stock up our gears we will stock up what needs stocking up. We will return the same place where we stayed overnight the earlier day.

Namache Bazar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft)

Your team will set off towards Tengboche and your teams trail for ups and downs begins along with the magnificent views of Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Nuptse and the close view of Amadablam and Thamserkhu. Tengboche is known for its superb view of the Himalayas and you can explore the biggest Buddhist Monastery of the Everest region as well. Here your team will stay overnight.

Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/12,694ft)

This day your team will trek to Dingboche. While trekking your team will pass through several small villages, Mani walls and Chortens. After reaching Dingboche your team can enjoy another spectacular views of Himalayas. Dingboche will be your teams overnight staying location.

Acclimatization day in Dingboche

This day your team will take rest at Dingboche. Your team will hike Nagarstang hill before lunch. After your lunch you will build up your strength for tomorrows trek by taking overnight stay and rest at Dingboche.

Dingboche to Labuche (4,940m/16,207ft)

This day your team will gradually pick up their trail to Duglha. To reach Duglha your team needs to cross the Duglha pass which is the beginning point of Khumbu Glacier. Gradually your team will trek up to Labuche and in this place your team will discover some typical houses designed through stones. The same place will be your overnight staying place.

Labuche to Gorakshep (5,170m/16,961ft) – Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,594ft) – Gorakshep

This will be the main event of your Everest Base Camp Trekking. Your team will depart for Gorakshep and have their lunch over there. Then our hiking part begins to Everest Base Camp. After reaching there your team can rest and relax for a while. Then once again your team will trek back to Gorakshep. Enjoy spectacular views of mountains from the teahouse at Gorakshep and stay overnight over there.

Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5,545m/18,192ft) – Pheriche (4,280m/14,070ft) – Early morning, hike Kala Patthar (5,644m/18,519ft)

Early morning your team will hike to Kala Patthar after reaching Pheriche which is the superb location for viewing mountain including Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. After enjoying the wonderful view at Kalapatthar your team will descend to Pheriche for overnight stay.

Pheriche to Namche

This will be an easy walking day. After like 4 hours of gentle walk your team will reach Namche Bazar. Where your team will stay overnight.

Namche to Phakding

Your team will depart from Namche to Phakding. It will take roughly like 5 hours to reach Phakding where you will stay overnight.

Phakding to Lukla

From Phakding your team will trek back to Lukla after 3 to 4 hours of descend trail trek. In the late evening there will be a farewell dinner with the Guides and Sherpa and stay overnight in Lukla.

Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu

Early morning your team will take a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. In free time you can explore Thamel and shop for some items. In evening you will join our farewell dinner from Zed Travels. You will stay overnight in a hotel arranged by our team.

Fly back home

This day one of our representative will escort back to airport where you will leave onto your next destination.
